So the basement reno is underway. Here are some pics...

A good Feeling

THe last blog here was a year ago (!!!)...

We dealt with the passing of my mother, and of a close friend. Turned out 2008 was a bad year.. 8 funerals, and only 2 were not cancer related.

However... the title refres to the fact that my father, after WW11, bought a property on Vancouver Island that included 100' of lakefront. Well, mother's estate was finally settled (including my nephew buying the property from the estate, so IT STAYS IN THE FAMILY!!)..

and our share of the estate allowed us to retire the mortgage. Yes, a very Good Feeling.

Maybe I'll blog again before another year passes....
